The G5-01TW Auto Darkening Welding Filter utilises the very popular Natural Colour Technology, designed to have fantastic clarity before, during and after the welding process. This model also features the Tack Welding Mode (intermediate shade 5 light when an arc is struck) and has an adjustable setting of dark shades of 5 (cut) and 8 to 13. The welding filter is designed to provide smoother dark-light filter transitions. This was established to minimise eye strain whilst switching between dark states and light states.
With the 3M Connected Equipment App, you can easily record your welding helmet maintenance log to visually see how you are using your helmet efficiently and know all your models’ performance statistics. You can adjust your welding helmet features and programs, such as setting for the dark shades and sensitivity levels. Users can also use the app to have access to user manuals and parts lists for the models.
