3M Speedglas have been conducting extensive research into designing a welding helmet that is constructed to be reliable and extremely adaptable to a welder’s needs and situation. The result of their research is the G5-01 Welding Helmet. Please note that this product comes with a G5-01 welding helmet’s inner shield with air duct and airflow controls and includes the visor frame.
Built for heavy-duty, high-amperage welding and grinding, this innovative series of welding helmets are constructed to offer welders more control over their airflow direction. The design of the helmet allows the airflow to be directed to your face, your visor or a combination of both, whatever the welder prefers. All adjustments made to the airflow are possible whilst wearing the helmet. The helmet’s flip-up function allows an effortless switch between welding and grinding applications whilst also staying protected due to the powered air respiratory system.
