The universal three-jaw self-centring welding gripper, Model WPG 250, replaces two models, allowing increased versatility from a single gripper. It has a clamping range from 38" (10mm) to 15" (381mm) and is easily mounted on any make of positioner. It features fast, smooth close/open action using a lever to firmly lock and release the workpiece. This WPG250 is ruggedly constructed yet weighs about half as much as a standard chuck providing a minimal reduction in positioner capacity. This unit enables high levels of efficiency in operations involving the welding of fittings, flanges, etc.
