SAFE-X 1000 is a resettable flashback arrestor manufactured according to BS-EN 730.
The model incorporates several unique features. It is designed to be user-friendly with a clear indication of open and closed operating mode. A green stripe indicates in-operation mode. The flashback arrestor closes on flash back and the gas flow is cut off. The reset mechanism is integrated in the design.
With the system decompressed and the cause of the flash back determined, the SAFE-X 2000 is reset by pulling the reset button out until the green stripe appears again.
SAFE-X 2000 of course has all the safety functions you can demand from a modern flash back arrestor.
- A filter which prevents contamination affecting the function of the flash back arrestor.
- Flame arrestor of sintered metal which stops and extinguishes backfire.
- Non-return valve which prevents flow-back.
- A flow-arrestor which automatically turns off the gas flow on flash back.
- Safety fuse which shuts off the gas flow on overheating.
